Ship Certificate Processing & Renewal

Professional ship certificate management and renewal services in accordance with applicable regulations.

An expired certificate takes a vessel out of service. While the paperwork is outstanding the ship sits in port, yet berthing fees, crew wages, and cargo commitments carry on regardless. Certificate work is therefore less about assembling documents than about timing.

PT Persada Mulya Baraka handles the administrative side of certificate issue and renewal: checking what you hold, preparing what is required, and following the process through to issue. Owners and operators need not assign anyone to chase it, and we track expiry dates so the next renewal is not missed.

How It Works

How We Carry It Out

  1. 01

    Document review

We review the certificates currently held and their expiry dates, then flag what needs completing or updating.

  2. 02

    Preparing requirements

Paperwork is assembled against the applicable requirements, so a submission is not held up by a missing document.

  3. 03

    Processing

We submit and follow up on the application, reporting progress so you know where it stands without having to ask.

  4. 04

    Handover & reminder

Issued certificates are handed over with copies, and the next expiry date is recorded as a reminder.

Questions

Frequently Asked

How long does ship certificate processing take?

It depends on the certificate type and how complete your existing documents are. Once we have reviewed what you hold, we give you an expected timeframe up front so vessel scheduling can be planned around it.

Can you handle a vessel that is not in Jakarta?

Yes. We have offices in Jakarta and Samarinda and serve other Indonesian ports. Most of the process is administrative, so it does not require the vessel to be in the same city.

What documents do we need to provide first?

Typically the certificates currently held, vessel identification documents, and owner or operator details. Once we have seen your paperwork we give you a specific list, so nothing is prepared unnecessarily.
